Getting started is easy! Simply sign up for an account using your email address. After creating your account, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding process. Then you can start searching for and logging your favorite media.

Use the search function to find any movie, TV show, game, book, or album. Once you find what you're looking for, you can add it to your journal with a rating, review, and notes. You can also mark items as 'in progress' or add them to your queue for later.

You can rate media on a scale that makes sense for you. Ratings are personal and help you remember what you've enjoyed. You can also add written reviews and private notes to your entries.

Boards are themed collections that let you organize your media however you want. Create boards like 'My Favorite Sci-Fi Movies', 'Books to Read This Year', or 'Cozy Games'. Boards can be public or private, and you can arrange items in any order you prefer.

Yes! You have full control over your privacy. You can make individual entries private, create private boards, and control what appears on your public profile. Your private notes are always kept private, even if you share a review.

Absolutely! Your profile showcases your media taste, favorite entries, and public boards. You can share your profile link with friends or keep it private. You control what's visible to others.

Yes, you can edit your entries at any time to update ratings, reviews, or notes. You can also delete entries if you no longer want to track a particular item. Changes are saved immediately.

If you can't find something through search, it may not be available in our data sources yet. You can try searching with different terms or check back later, as our data sources are regularly updated. If it's a very new release, it may take some time to appear.

You can update your profile information, including your username, display name, bio, and avatar, from your account settings. Go to Settings → Profile to make changes.

Currently, all your entries, ratings, and boards are stored securely in your account. Data export functionality is not available at this time. If you need to export your data, please contact us through our support channels.

Yes, Tastral is free to use. You can create an account, log unlimited media, create boards, and share your profile at no cost.

You can delete your account from the Account Settings page. This will permanently remove all your data including entries, ratings, boards, and profile information. This action cannot be undone, so please be certain before proceeding.

Simply go to the auth page and enter your email address. We'll send you a magic link via email. Click the link in your email to sign in or create an account. No password needed! Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see the email.

Yes! Tastral is fully responsive and works great on mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers. You can access all features from any device with a web browser.

For certain media types, you can use the sync feature to import your existing data. Look for the sync button on media detail pages. This feature helps you quickly add items you've already consumed on other platforms.
